The Calculate End Service Gratuity module serves as the master database tracking screen for all terminal employee indemnity evaluations. It displays total service logs, tracks comparative financial changes, and hosts form interfaces to execute individual or structural severance calculations.
To access this section, follow these steps: #
- Navigate to the Human Resources page.
- From the top navigation menu bar, click HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS.
- Under the EMPLOYEES OPERATIONS column, click The End Of Service Gratuity.
- Select the Calculate End Service Gratuity tab from the horizontal sub-navigation layout row.
Configuration Workflow #
The interface triggers and queries financial records through two targeted popup modals situated above the grid:
1. Execute New End of Service Payout Calculations #
Follow these steps to run a new severance evaluation task:
- Click Custom Calculation.
- Assign the target operational threshold limit by using the Caculation Date calendar field tool.
- Isolate population groupings by filtering across structural dropdown select list containers (Branch, Devisions, Main Section, Path, Sectors, or Sponsor).
- Restrict capture parameters based on active job definitions inside the Employee Status dropdown selection.
- To focus calculation parameters on a singular staff profile, select their entry in the Employees lookup container.
- Click the green + action button to process the backend math and log the calculation to the directory.
2. Query Existing Calculation Registries #
Follow these steps to filter, look up, or isolate past gratuity records:
- Click Search.
- Restrict files using structural dropdown picker filters (Branch, Section, Main Section, Sectors, Path, or Sponsor).
- Set tracking evaluation boundaries using the Date From and Date To calendar range fields.
- Pinpoint an explicit file by picking a name inside the Employee Name lookup dropdown or narrowing via the Calculation Type menu rule.
- Click the blue magnifying glass icon button to refresh the active workspace view.
Data Table View #
Calculated rows and tracking variables display systematically across the ledger grid layout to assist coordinators during final exit reviews:
- Employee Name: The full registered legal name of the worker.
- Branch / Sections / Main Section / Sectors: The complete multi-tier organizational mapping parameters tracking the profile.
- Sponsor Name: The verified legal entity or corporate sponsor linked to the contract record.
- Job / Job Level / Path: Career hierarchy parameters applied during the calculation run.
- Value: The active gross end-of-service monetary distribution sum computed for the current period.
- Previous Value: Historical accrued provision values carried over from preceding cycles.
- Net Value: The net financial variance or current balance obligation due for processing.
- Employment Date: The official corporate hire date recorded for the worker.
- Calculation Date: The precise system parameter execution timeline target.
- Number Of Working Days: Cumulative sum of verified active service days logged by the employee.
- The Number Of Vacation Days: Total number of unutilized or structural leave days evaluated in the loop.
- CalculationType: The regulatory or system model path utilized to run the formula.
- Post: A verification indicator showing if the record row has crossed ledger approval thresholds.
- Registration Number: The system-generated transactional reference ID.
- Posting Date: The calendar date when the record entry was transferred to accounts.
- The Name Of The Entry Relay: Identifies the software module or method used to pass the journal entry.
- Delete: Administrative action control to safely purge an unposted calculation draft row from the registry.
Grid Operations and Data Export #
The control toolkit located at the top right of the data panel allows you to process information dynamically:
- Search: Type keywords directly into the central search bar to isolate targeted records instantly.
- Export to Excel: Click the Excel icon to download the visible workforce directory into an .xlsx workbook.
- Export to PDF: Click the PDF icon to output a printable document report file containing the filtered registry layout.
- Show/Hide Columns: Click the Database/Eye icon to change column visibility rules on the fly.
