The General Accounting Connecting Settings page allows administrators to link and integrate Human Resources transactional workflows directly into the parent general ledger accounting chart. Through this page, administrators can systematically map financial entities, such as journal entry rules, cost distributions, government processing fees, payroll calculations, and liability entries, to ensure complete automation between payroll data and general accounting profiles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This page serves as a centralized configuration hub to ensure the HR system operates efficiently and aligns with the organization’s policies and operational needs.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To access the General Accounting Connecting Settings page, follow these steps:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click\u00a0System Setting.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Main Financial Connection Categories <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        The General Accounting Connecting Settings interface organizes financial mapping rules into 9 master configuration tabs located at the top of the panel: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Connect Rules:\u00a0Map standard general ledger accounts to handle processing rules, debtor entities, and creditor entities for primary payroll allocations.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            • Connect Government Expenses:\u00a0Assign government transaction fees, visa clearances, and processing accounts to\u00a0their matching\u00a0ledger codes.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
